日本がこれまでに体験したことのない未曾有の大災害となった東日本大震災。音楽に携わる人間としてその音楽で何とかこの暗闇に光を射していきたいと考え、言葉の壁もなく、世界中にリスナーを持つ国境を越えて結ばれているダンス・ミュージックを作る内外のアーティストが楽曲を提供し、売上金の全てを日本赤十字社を通じて、東日本大震災の被災者への義援金として寄付するコンピレーション「BPM JAPAN」にキムラコウもユニットMODEWARPで参加させていただきました。隣国ウクライナにあるチェルノブイリでの事故の際、死の灰の影響を最も被ったベラルーシに住むPASHA JOINTはロシアやベラルーシにキムラコウを招いているDJ/プロデューサー/プロモーターですが、今回の大災害に心を痛め「僕も何か手伝わせてもらいたい」というたっての希望から今回MODEWARPと一緒にリミックスを手がけてくれました。以前ACCESS DENIEDというユニットでヒット曲をいくつも飛ばしたPASHAの新たなユニット、TrockenSaft名義で参加してくれた楽曲は今後Beatportで販売されます。

After the disaster in Northern Japan, we who work in music industry sought means to help the victims and their supporters. Dance music has no border and unites people without language barriers. We all know that. Japanese & international producers/DJs contributed their tracks to charity project “BPM JAPAN” which all the profit from its sales will be donated to Red Cross Japan.
KO KIMURA contributed a tune ‘Elevated (TrockenSaft Remix)’ by his unit MODEWARP. MODEWARP made the brand new remix with Pasha Joint from Belarus, the area that suffered most from the Chernobyl catastrophe in 80’s-90’s. His passion to help out Japan’s disaster and his friendship with Ko resulted in this tune (TrockenSaft is Pasha’s new unit). It will be released from beatport soon.
